Our Business
North Perrott Farm Shop & Garden Centre is a family run shop in Somerset, stocking local farm produce.The business ethos is to support natural, healthy and local produce to help sustain the local rural economy.
Our Products
As well as running a farm shop selling a comprehensive range of meat, dairy, cereal, fruit and vegetable produce, the Jonathan also runs the North Perrott Fruit Farm and a wholesale nursery stock business. The wholesale business is heavily reliant on barcoding, which was also introduced to the retail shop three years ago to improve its stock control processes.
Business Growth
As the business grew, there was also a growing need for a suitable barcoding solution which would work with the business’ existing accounting software.
 “We already used Sage for our accounting purposes and have done so for many years”, said Jonathan Hoskyns at North Perrott Fruit Farm . “We needed to find a solution which would allow us to track our merchandise at point of sale and conduct inventories on a day-to-day basis, providing accurate data while saving both time costs.”
